How to Generate $7.8 Million In Revenue in 12 Hours

According to Launchmetrics, which measures the monetary value of media marketing strategies, Rihanna's Fenty line generated $7.8 million in the first 12 hours after her 2023 Super Bowl halftime performance.

We are not superstar Rihanna with her tremendous social following but we can learn from her on how she markets herself and her brand – seizing on opportunity every chance she can get.

Since the start of the pandemic, women, particularly women of color, have become the leading drivers of business creation in the U.S. In 2020 and 2021, women accounted for 49 percent of new business launches, according to a study by Gusto, a human resources software company, compared to 42 percent for men in 2021.

Bet on yourself.  Start a business.  Become an entrepreneur. Create your own destiny.  The world awaits.

I have not read the book yet but wanted to bring it to your attention. Go here to buy the book.  And visit Maite's site established in 2012.

All I can say is we were No. 1 at starting with the concept of Escape From Corporate America (2003)!  We've created a whole new industry as a result!

Best Time To Start a Business? When You Are Good and Ready!

You can analyze things to death but really, the best time to start a business is when you are good and ready.

Read what two women went through before a light bulb glowed: "Do your own thing!"

And we covered a similar piece here on January 16, 2009 under the headline: Frightened About Your Corporate Job? Become An Entrepreneur.

Frightened About Your Corporate Job? Become an Entrepreneur

Scared about holding on to your corporate job? Hire yourself! Start a business! Become an entrepreneur! That way, you can't be fired and you have complete control over your destiny.
Being an entrepreneur means no one can fire you. For a woman who wants to have children it means not totally sacrificing your career. The 65-plus executive who is told he must retire but isn't ready doesn't have to. What prevents a disabled person from starting and running their own business? It's really mind over matter.
The quote above is from Marc Kramer's latest column over at TheStreet.com. Definitely worth a read.
